2005 St. Andrew By The Sea UMC Trip to Belize

St. Andrew By-The-Sea UMC sent a team of 22 to Billy White, Belize, in Central America in July 2005. The team painted the inside and out of the school building, conducted Vacation Bible School, built an incinerator, repaired the latrines, put secure locks on the windows, put up a basketball goal, installed ceiling fans with lights and ran water in all 3 classrooms, built bookshelves for the 350 books they donated, mounted blackboards on the walls of the classrooms, and put shoes on 160 children's feet. This was the first mission presence in this small village of 350 residents.
