ROW MISSION REPORT

First Christian Church

We waited all year for a week of mission. It finally arrived, 6/6/6, a scary day to go on airplanes! But we were geared up and fueled for mission! 10 members of First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Meridian, MS went on a ROW mission trip to Billy White Village and School. We were warmly met by 70 children, 3 teachers and 1 principal, Irma Chan.

God met us there through the sincere love of the children, the hard work of the staff, and the unity of our team as we offered the following for their village:

Plastering of two classroom floors
Latrine repair and venting system
Water system (guttered the school and purchased a large water tank)
VBS every afternoon including music, art, Bible stories, sports and conversations.
Supplies: Books, ROW Tshirts, and every student received a printed photo of themselves.

We also went to Jaguar Paw and ziplined through the rain forest and cave tubed at Caves Branch after that! We stayed at Martha's Guesthouse (www.MarthasBelize.com) and we highly recommend her hospitality, meals and support!
